The radio news portal Bulletin provides radio stations across Southern Africa with online, subscription-based access to a complete virtual newsroom.
Beyond the Bulletin is Bulletin’s weekly radio news feature – conceptualised and executed by me as part of my content editor role.
The interview-style radio news packages explore topical issues and are made available to radio stations to use during shows most suited to their format and audience. During my time at Bulletin I carefully selected and researched each topic before scheduling an interview with the spokesperson or newsmaker. From the recorded content I then formulated the most relevant and newsworthy angle before writing the story and cutting the sound.
